When you are ready to purchase a home or sell your home, the choice of realtor is vital to your success.   I view this effort, first and foremost, as a complex business transaction requiring great experience and skill to achieve maximum results.   When you are getting involved in one of the largest financial transactions of your life, why would you accept less than the best, most experienced support?

Eric has been a consistent top-producer with annual sales in excess of $12 Million and over 20 transactions in 2005.   He has been awarded both Gold and Silver level Circle of Excellence awards by the NJ Assoc. of Realtors.   In addition, he earned a New Jersey Real Estate Broker's License in April of 2003, the top designation a realtor can earn in NJ.

Eric has built a career of more than 25 years in the computer and software industry, including 10+ years at IBM in a variety of sales, marketing and management positions.   He then joined AT&T in management and executive positions, including Vice President of Sales, Northeast.   He then was an executive in a venture capital-backed software company which developed speech-recognition technology.   He sold this company in 1998 and entered the real estate profession on a full-time basis in 1999.   He is also President & CEO of Speech Interface Design, a systems integrator in Pittsburgh.

In February of 2008 Classic Realty Group acquired our office. CRG has offices in Bergen and Hudson Counties, including many of the top communities. Somerset Hills becomes the 9th office of this prestigious company, led by Charles Oppler, Broker/Owner and Dick Schlott, Chairman.

Charlie joined CRG in 1992, and was President of the NJ Assoc. of Realtors in 2004.

Dick Schlott was the founder of Schlott Realtors, which grew into a 135 office company in NJ, which he sold to Coldwell Banker in 1991. Dick has continued his active role as a leader and visionary in the real estate industry including his last position as Pres. of GMAC Home Services, div. GM. He is the Managing Partner for the Somerset Hills Division of CRG.

We are continuing our tradition of "marketing and selling distinctive homes...like yours".

Eric has lived in Basking Ridge for over 20 years.   He has been married for over 34 years, and has 3 daughters.   His wife, Ruth, works as activities coordinator at Fellowship Village, the premier Continuing Care Retirement Community in the area.

He and Ruth recently built and moved into a new house here in Basking Ridge, which has provided him with a unique perspective in assisting home buyers and sellers.
